Halsey Bottling is looking to hire a Bottling Line Manager. We are a small family-owned mobile wine bottling business with a reputable presence in the industry for 15+ years. We have multiple mobile bottling trucks that service the Napa Valley area with one goal: to deliver the highest quality bottling service to wineries and groups in the industry. We are looking for a Bottling Line Manager to join our team who is highly motivated and willing to work hard. *Bottling, mechanic, or industry experience required.*
Position Summary:
Our bottling lines are mobile and travel to various jobsite locations. Travel will be required. Each job will include set up of bottling line at new site, the bottling operation itself, and the break down and pack up of the bottling truck. Two employees are assigned to a truck, a Bottling Line Manager and a Bottling Line support Operator. As a Bottling Manager, you are responsible for performing and overseeing all bottling duties and tasks. Main duties during bottling including running and continuously monitoring the bottling line to ensure all equipment is functioning properly and effectively during production. Each bottling job length can vary from one day run to multiday/weeks at one client site. There will also be opportunity to assist in other various tasks on non bottling days, such as providing back up support for other lines, or other duties assigned by management.
Duties and Responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Set up and break down bottling line at the start and end of each job
- Monitor bottling line and assembly of equipment inside truck and ensure each piece of equipment is functioning properly
- Set up and adjustments to equipment including the filler, corker, labeler, and others on assembly line
- Refill supplies and stock on bottling line such as labels, corks, foils
- Assist with line sanitation, safety, and cleaning procedures daily
- Direct communication with winery personnel
- Light oversite of temporary bottling crew hired by winery
- Perform other duties/responsibilities as assigned by Management
Qualifications:
Experience in bottling, wine industry, production, or with machinery is required. Must be:
- Self-Starter

- Able to work on feet all day

- Work well under pressure
- Work well in fast-paced and changing environment
- Team player
- Lift up to 50lbs
- Willing to travel outside of Napa to various client locations
Position is full-time, hourly. Schedule M-F with frequent overtime daily. Salary DOE. Resume Required.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
