Job description

We are looking for a boxing trainer to lead group classes Monday, Wednesday and Friday early mornings (6 AM.) These classes are primarily centered around strength and conditioning with some sparring included. Trainer responsibilities include preparing and conducting classes, recruiting clients and closing deals, and ensuring all clients receive a great workout. If you work well in a leadership position and are knowledgeable/experienced in boxing, we’d like to meet you! Ultimately, you will ensure clients enjoy the gym group class experience and learn the fundamentals of boxing.

Shifts would be Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6AM-8AM.

We offer the opportunity for growth and private training with 50/50 split commission.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute group classes
• Collect money and execute transactions through POS (when necessary)
• Assist in maintaining and cleaning gym as well as resupplying consumables for the facility
• Assist in the promotional endeavours of gym
• Oversee the gym as a coach/employee

Requirements

• Knowledge/experience in boxing
• Previous work experience (preferably, but not limited to, a similar field)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Respectful, humble, and professional attitude

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
