Reports To: General Manager and Senior Managers of Wonderland Dreams

About Us:

Previously opened in October of 2022, Wonderland Dreams is an immersive art exhibit, event space, and bar by artist Alexa Meade. Over the summer our team spent countless hours transforming 26,000 sq. ft. in Midtown Manhattan into a 360 hand painted wonderland. With a few short weeks before the holiday season kicks up, we are searching for team members who will be passionate about taking immersive art, hospitality, and guest experience to the next level. About You:

Wonderland Dreams is looking for guest experience ambassadors to work alongside Managers to create positive customer experiences for all guests as they explore a hand painted immersive art exhibit by artist Alexa Meade. You are creative at heart and are looking for a role that is highly impactful and interactive. You will have many opportunities to entertain, educate and inspire guests to be creative as they interact with our exhibit. You must be capable of supercharging a group of strangers and transport guests of all ages into our painted wonderland. You will lead our busiest days and make a lasting impact on those who visit Wonderland Dreams, weekends and holidays included.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Attend all mandatory training prior to Grand Opening and during retraining periods
  • Maintain consistent availability, giving 2+ weeks notice if rearranging your permanent schedule is needed
  • Represent the Wonderland Dreams brand with integrity and enthusiasm
  • Greeting and welcome guests with high energy and enthusiasm consistently throughout the day
  • Push sales of retail products and bar items, achieving targets and goals when relevant
  • Providing excellent customer service through personalized guest assistance, including ushering and wayfinding when necessary
  • Achieve mastery and knowledge of products, exhibits, and basic business operating information
  • Set-up and close down assigned exhibits including the retail & bar area per opening and closing checklists
  • Maintain Cleanliness and organization of spaces throughout the museum
  • Follow company procedures set forth in the employee handbook
  • Hold fellow team members accountable for policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • You are 18 years or older
  • Open availability, including weekend
  • 1+ years of previous customer service experience, in high volume establishments
  • Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time, up to 8 hours
  • Proficient in public speaking (Actors, Camp counselors, and bubbly personalities - this is the perfect job for you!)
  • Excellent hospitality and customer service standards
  • Keen eye for creative details
  • Able to reliably get to and from manhattan on late nights and weekends
  • Trustworthy, reliable, and a leader amongst peers
  • Strong interpersonal skills
