What We Are Looking For:
This role will oversee all influencer partnerships, including talent casting and discovery, content creation via creative briefs or events, managing timelines for product launches/focuses, contract negotiation and execution, sample tracking, recapping, and partnering with both internal and external teams to ensure the proper handling of product. The Influencer Relations Manager is an integral member of the team, supporting overall Brand Marketing efforts and furthering ANINE BING's position as a leader in the fashion space.

This is a roll-up-sleeves and get-hands-dirty role for an ambitious and hungry influencer marketing specialist who wants to partner with a world class team to build a next generation fashion brand. As the Brand Marketing and Influencer Relations Manager, you will support, optimize and grow our influencer partnerships, with a core focus on identifying talent, thinking outside of the box and reporting analytics. This role is part of a dynamic, fast-paced team that relies on strong cross-functional relationships, keen brand awareness and excellent judgment. This role reports to the Director, Brand Marketing & Global Communications.


Responsibilities:

  • Drive global influencer marketing strategy and execution to reach overall brand growth and business goals within budget.
    • Deploy influencer campaigns across our global influencer community to drive awareness and education for product launches or brand initiatives.
  • Negotiate and manage all influencer contracts and oversee all influencer campaign initiatives, coordinating product delivery and tracking all content deliverables from talent.
  • Exemplifies a knack for identifying new talent that is on brand and meets pre-determined criteria is a must.
  • Oversee the organization of the influencer marketing calendar and reporting across all influencer activity globally.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize influencer placements/content across all our brand channels, with an emphasis on paid digital media.
  • Manage all influencer agreements from negotiation to execution.
  • Manage content brief in partnership with Creative and cross functional teams.
  • Oversee reporting and metrics to ensure goals are clear and measured; share results, insights and future recommendations with cross-functional teams and leaders on an ongoing basis.
  • Nurture and grow our community of VIPs, influencers and brand loyalists by fostering relationships, strategizing unique brand experiences and securing valuable content for our brand.
  • Manage relationships with talent, managers, agents, and social monitoring platforms
    • Oversee NOTED agency and supporting with all styling needs
  • Identify new influencers across all channels and build innovative programs and partnerships to expand community, while deepening existing relationships, from micro to mega.
  • Oversee all gifting efforts including influencer mailers, seeding, organic gifting and partnership gifting
    • Manage all Lookbook content and briefing
  • Own forecasting and inventory process
  • Process all gifting orders
  • Oversee sample tracking process from loan to return, in partnership with LA based celeb agency NOTED, maintaining an organized understanding of outstanding pieces and upcoming placements.
    • Ensure EU agency Karla Otto receives seasonal samples
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on marketing campaigns, new product launches, growth initiatives, events and more.
  • Be an expert, staying up to date on influencer and community trends and tools.
  • Build programs from vision through execution to scale influencer content creation, traffic and sales, exploding engagement and advocacy.
  • Support Director with all brand activations with influencers to foster organic relationships, drive brand awareness and generate compelling content.
  • Manage the compilation of all recap reports for influencer/press activity including campaigns, large brand moments, and general monthly reporting.
  • Own Buying and Planning allocations and forecasting for department; working closely with Brand Marketing team to align on gifting/press/activation needs
    • Oversee all timeline of product launches and inventory allocations.
  • Manage launch dates closely and communication with department.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
  • Position requires 4-6 years of influencer marketing experience
  • Experience with influencer selection and campaign ideation
  • Relevant experience within China market is a plus
  • Possesses talent and talent management relationships
  • Experience developing strategy and casting influencers
  • Should be a self-starter and have a keen ability to work on multiple projects with multiple cross-functional partners and teams
  • Must be consumer-obsessed, eager to engage with our audience on a daily basis with a fundamental interest in community and trends
  • Must be organized and highly detail-oriented, double-checking work with unprompted follow-through
  • Should demonstrate a passion for the fashion industry
  • Experience working at innovative, fast-paced startups or an indie brand is a plus
  • Hyper independent and self-motivated, and always proactive versus reactive

  • The compensation range for this position is $90,000-$100,000 annually. Candidate offer will be bases on relevant experience and work location.
