Doubletree by Hilton, The Tudor Arms Hotel - Food and Beverage in Cleveland, Ohio!

Job Overview:
Our Part-Time Breakfast Server / Host will be paid an hourly rate of
$4.65 + tips and be a
non-exempt employee. This position has a 90-day probationary period.
A Part-Time Breakfast Server / Host will be asked to perform the following duties:
- Welcome and seat guests in a friendly and professional way
- Anticipate the needs of guests and be proactive in servicing them accordingly
- Receive and deliver room service orders efficiently and in a timely manner
- Distribute food and drinks and clear tables by following The Tudor Arms Hotel’s and Hilton standards
- Clean, organize, restock, and maintain the service, dining, and guest areas
- Set up and tear down the Doubletree Breakfast Buffet
- Communicate to the culinary team what is needed at the buffet
- Follow established safety, sanitation, and security procedures
- Solve any guest issues promptly while maintaining a hospitable demeanor
- Work diligently in a team environment, helping other coworkers when needed
- Work with POS System frequently to complete transactions
Mandatory Requirements
- Ability to lift 25 pounds or less, maneuver up and down stairs with no difficulty, and stand on feet 95% of scheduled shift
- Flexibility to work early mornings; Monday through Friday starting at 5A.M. and Saturday and Sunday at 6A.M.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Positive, engaging personality
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong task and time management abilities
Preferred Experience/Knowledge
- A High School Diploma or G.E.D
- Related experience in a dynamic restaurant atmosphere
