The Bus Monitor is responsible for working as a team member with the Bus Driver to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of Program Children.
Starting at 16.97 per hour. $2,000.00 sign on bonus (FT)

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Ensure children are in age/weight appropriate child restraint system.
- Assist children with loading and unloading from bus.
- Ensure children are released only to authorized individuals.
- In conjunction with driver, maintain route copy and assist substitute driver.
- Maintain back pack for respective route, medication log, name tags, seating chart, Child Plus forms.
- Engage children with age appropriate activities, i.e. songs, games, music.
- Along with Bus Driver, maintain cleanliness of equipment and vehicle.
- Follow Transportation policies and procedures as outlined.
- Integrate a DE&I lens in all activities, encourage colleagues to engage in DE&I work, and contribute to our mission of building a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive organization for our employees, clients, and partners; requires ongoing investment in a personal and professional journey to understand identity and address unconscious bias, power, and privilege.
Successful Candidate will Possess:
- Must have evidence of full COVID-19 immunization or approval of a religious or medical exemption upon hire.
- Evidence of MMR
- Ability to pass CORI/DCF background which includes fingerprinting prior to employment.
- Ability to work effectively with and meet the needs of people from a diverse range of backgrounds, cultures, and identities, including underserved communities and people from the different racial groups, socioeconomic statuses, nationalities, and languages that make up CTI’s clientele
- 1 year of child monitoring experience preferred
