Business Advocate
Job description
The Business Advocate will work directly for the Community Navigator Pilot Program (CNPP) Program Manager of the USPAACC’s Chapter Spoke. A CNPP Business Advocate oversees outreach and door-to-door activities of the Sokes in their specific neighborhoods or territories. Your responsibilities may include hiring, training, and overseeing business advocates as well as planning the business visit strategy. You may focus on strategies for raising awareness for CNPP and bringing more small business clients to the Spokes. You will also oversee data and report collection by the Business Advocates.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- As a Business Advocate you help our CNPP team at USPAACC develop meaningful engagement with small business owners.
- Understand the CNPP program and is passionate about executing the mission and metrics of the Spoke they represent.
- Learn about the solutions USPAAC and our CNPP team have to improve small businesses by offering financial guidance, Point of Sale support, and a range of solutions geared towards improving small business outlook in financial crisis or for growth.
- Generate in-person connections, drive webinars, and event numbers.
- Conduct visits to small businesses in their locality.
- Meet/exceed all monthly goals to support the CNPP Spokes in reaching their targets.
- Follow proper procedures, scripts, and customer service guidelines in engaging small business communities
- Engage and provide needed resources that assist business flourish, such as handing our resource fliers and other supporting resource documents.
- Document by taking pictures and writing about their successful engagements of business establishments.
- Consistently meet monthly targets and goals within a specific period.
- Get information such as contact details and business information from potential leads and clients for follow-ups.
- Cold-call minority small businesses to follow up and monitor how business' concerns are being addressed and assisted with.
- Go door-to-door to introduce CNPP’s offers and resources to potential and existing business clients
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid and active driver’s license and automobile insurance.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics:
- Fluent in Bi-/Multi-Lingual Asian Language, preferred.
- Excellent understanding of cultural sensitivity and cultural needs.
- Previous Sales, Customer Service, and Coordination experience highly preferred in a face-to-face setting.
- Good leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to meet/exceed expectations continually.
- Excellent communication skills including eloquence, active listening and interpersonal skills.
- Working cell phone/smartphone.
- Good Computer and typing skills. Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
