Business Analyst

No Corp-to-Corp/C2C or recruiters

Need Solution Consultants | Business Analysts for the delivery our product suite to our utility | municipal customers. The candidate will work with the customer during the project life cycle: capturing requirements, developing user stories, configuration and testing of our solutions, and issue remediation. Requires sound customer management, facilitation, business process analysis, documentation, and SQL skills. Looking for an independent self-starter who focuses on problem solving.

• Self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction
• A person who is a problem-solver and can identify issues and works to solve them
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
• Work with Team Members to interpret analytic results and refine analysis as needed
• Ability to interpret and write SQL
• Works well in a multi-task environment prioritizing tasks properly and staying well organized
• Perform ad-hoc analyses to provide customized comprehensive cross-functional analytical information that facilitates business decision-making
• General knowledge of data warehousing, data analytics, and business intelligence
• Aggregate and analyze large sums of data and present actionable findings and recommendations
• Develop value add reports designed for end users that provide key, simplified insights
• Deliver informative, well-organized presentations to customer and management
• Document all processes and models used to as part of the requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Facilitate and capture customer requirements with meticulous documentation
• Create Product Backlogs with prioritized and sorted user stories
• Configure the solutions according to the identified user stories
• Work with support staff in issue remediation of the solution
• Testing of the solution throughout the lifecycle of delivery.
• With the Project Manager, provide project status, including logging issues.

Minimum Skills and Competencies

• Bachelor's degree (MIS, Math, Statistics, or related field).
• 5+ years business experience desired
• Utility Background in a Customer Information System - CIS (CC&B experience would be a plus)
