The Peridot facility specializes in advanced CNC machining of metals/plastics and product assembly including final packaging. Featuring advanced CNC multi-axis machining, this location also offers bar-fed, wet cutting, Fiber-delivered Tube Laser processing, Wire EDM, EDM small-hole drilling, laser welding, laser engraving, laser sheet cutting, metal stamping, spring manufacturing, sheet-metal fab, In- House Finishing, and ISO Class 8 Clean Room assembly. Peridot’s expertise in micro-machining of difficult-to-machine materials and Can-Do attitude differentiates us from the competition.

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will develop new relationships, and grow existing relationships within engineering, development and procurement teams at target customers to penetrate the organization and open doors to new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales/Marketing of precision machined components. The candidate will be self-motivated, able to move aggressively, and add value to customers through a thorough understanding of the manufacturing process. The position requires engineering acumen and a thorough understanding of the Medical Device market. This BDM will be responsible to bring new opportunities to Peridot with a strong ability to leverage existing relationships as well as developing new market opportunities. The BDM will be accountable for meeting and exceeding sales revenues targets set by Management. Additional responsibilities will be to own and manage related RFQs ensuring timely response. The BDM will provide weekly updates regarding Peridot’s customer relationships with customer sales projections, new opportunity logs and call plans accordingly, timely, and consistently. The BDM will be responsible for all trade show related activities.

REQUIREMENT
BA or BS, Engineering preferred
5+ years precision machining sales

Knowledge of California and Western United States Machining industry.
An understanding of Machining Services and Machining processes
Knowledge of the Medical Device Industry
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Excellent MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills with an ability to deliver results through proposal packaging.
