JOB SUMMARY

MediStar is seeking for Business Office Support staff/Bookkeeper to join our team of professional staff in our growing business office in central Phoenix, AZ. This is a full-time position which includes all company benefits and growth potentials. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing office supports to management while enjoying a positive work environment with independent roles.

Job Description (Requirements and Duties):

  • Provide backup support for our bi-weekly payroll and maintain company PTO records.
  • Post journal entries into our accounting system and assist with other assigned monthly bookkeeping duties.
  • Maintain proper records of payment from clients, vendors, and tenants. Assist with handling petty cash transactions. Deposits daily checks.
  • Assist with purchasing inventory and maintaining office supplies.
  • Assist with the responsibility of onboarding new employees. Maintain company employee benefits records.
  • Assist with recording employee meeting minutes when necessary and coordination of various internal personnel office matters.
  • Provide other administrative/mundane support tasks as needed by management as necessary for efficient business office operation.

Job Requirements: The Successful Candidate Should Have -

  • Associate/2+ years college education in business/accounting-related fields.
  • 2-3 years of combined prior experience as a Bookkeeper or in business office/admin support roles helpful. Training will be provided.
  • Candidate must have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented a plus.
  • Must be reliable, responsible, and possess problem-solving skills.
  • Dedicated to excellence and show pride in the outcomes of his/her job.
  • Demonstrate good abilities in the performance of Business Office Support roles.
