Baristas needed at new cafe in exciting multipurpose building!
The founder of Bartleby and Sage, an established catering company based out of East Williamsburg/Bedstuy, is in the soft opening stage of a new retail cafe, Bartleby’s cafe, offering high quality, third-wave coffee and espresso along with premium lunch offerings. We’re based out of 630 Flushing Ave, a hub for bakers, makers, and creators, and we need charismatic and capable baristas to join our team.
We’re asking for at least one year of experience in a fast-paced and high-volume cafe. You’ll be operating high-end cafe equipment, greeting customers and guiding them through our menu, doing light food prep, liaising with our catering kitchen and vendors, and working creatively and reliably as we get our cafe up and running. In return, we offer $17/hour plus tips, a Monday-Friday schedule (that’s right: a no-weekends barista job), and the chance to get in on an exciting new venture on the ground floor.
We are currently offering part-time schedules, with the option to go full-time after our grand opening in early October. We would love to see your resume
