Northwestern State University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Coordinator of Recruiting for the Louisiana Scholars ' College, in the Office of University Recruiting.

A bachelor’s degree is required, with 1-2 years' experience working in marketing, public relations, or an event related area. Would prefer applicants with experience working in an educational environment, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and able to demonstrate the ability in working with high school and college age students.
All Recruiters, Coordinators, Assistant Directors will report directly to the Director of University
Recruiting.
The responsibilities include:
- Managing all social media accounts and creating content
- campaigns, and engagement throughout the year as it relates to the recruitment timeline and LA Scholars' College.
- Planning, managing, and executing events related to the recruiting process of LA Scholars: College, such as: Nside View preview Days, Counselor Luncheons, Recruiting Receptions, and other events managed through the Recruiting Office.
- Daily, weekly, and monthly reports which evaluate individual accountability in student recruitment.
- Always Representing the University in a positive manner and performing all job functions to an optimal degree to create a caring, student-oriented campus.
- Work-related travel, to include extensive overnight and some out-of-state training and conferences.
- General involvement in other admissions and recruiting duties as assigned by the Director.
