Join the BAE Systems Intelligence Solutions (IS) business area in continuing to fulfil its strategic objectives of growth and competitiveness in pursuit of IC and FedCiv business opportunities as well as drive intelligence, C5ISR, and IT/Cyber solutions to our various customers. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Strategic Capture within the business area, position will be critical in supporting National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) Business Development efforts and Operations to qualify, pursue, and win new business and drive business growth to meet the objectives of IS. The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading successful > $100M captures across the IC. The Capture Director should have robust IC customer experience and a natural ability to leverage this in developing credible, strategic, and unique solutions that elevate PWIN and disrupt the competition.
Primary & Essential Accountabilities:
Lead opportunity pursuits from qualification to award leveraging honed Capture processes and offering creative expertise
Shape RFP prior to release through strategic customer engagement and mission enhancing solutions
Develop overall capture plan that includes technical, management, past performance, and pricing strategies and win themes
Provide opportunity gap analysis and identify partners both internal and external to successfully close
Responsible for developing Teaming Agreements and Statements of Work that meet customer requirements and enhance BAE Systems PWIN
Develop associated briefing materials and present at gate reviews to BAE Systems senior leadership team
Lead storyboard and win theme development activities
Actively be involved in solution development and have the ability and understanding of details to present on behalf of any element of the opportunity to customers or leadership.
Actively engage team to locate discriminators and ghosting opportunities in BlackHat and competitive analysis discussions
Provide leadership and oversight during proposal development phase
Lead post color team recovery efforts and strategy discussions
Develop and maintain key customer relationships across the IC
Locate common themes across various customer sets to drive long term strategy
Identify opportunities for efficiencies to include automated processes, tools, and data reuse across corporate capability offerings
Interact with all levels of the organization to stay current BAE Systems capabilities
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Requisite Skills and Education:
Bachelors degree and 12 years of experience leading Intel community captures
- National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) experience in a business development capacity
- Existing Intel community customer relationships in the fields of IT, Cyber, and Cloud
Existing Intel community industry relationships in the fields of IT, Cyber, and Cloud
Proven ability to lead captures from $50M to $500M+
Experienced with multitude of Capture contract types and pricing strategies to include Completion, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Performance based, Cost Plus (CP), and Time & Materials (T&M)
Experience with Shipley or other capture methodologies and leading team through complex captures with in-depth stakeholder reviews
Proven ability to derive strategic solutions and win themes against vaguely defined requirements
Success in leading multiple captures simultaneously at various stages of the opportunity lifecycle
Demonstrated achievement leading diverse, complex teams internally and externally to increase PWIN and drive successful outcomes
Aptitude to perform at high levels in a fast paced, matrixed environment with minimal or no supervision
Excellent interpersonal, oral, written, and presentation communication skills
Flexible to work and lead teams through remote, in-office, or in a classified environment based on opportunity requirements and business need
Active TS/SCI Poly
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Preferred Skills and Education:
Experience leading and winning $1B or greater captures
Technical acumen particularly in IT, Cyber, and Cloud
Previous experience working as a Program Manager or senior direct contributor for an IC customer
