Job description

We are a busy construction firm and are always hiring dedicated carpentry apprentices to join our team. You will be responsible for load and unload materials, follow directions from supervisors and other skilled tradesmen, and demolition & light carpentry. To do well in this role you should be physically fit, reliable, and be a hard worker.

**THIS POSITION REQUIRES TRAVEL TIMES FROM SHOP TO JOBSITE OF 30 MINS TO 2 HOURS**

• We will reimburse after the first 45 miles of travel to the site
• We will pay for a hotel when required if the commute is far
• We will provide $25 per diem for food when out of town working on site

Requirements:

• Clean up on-site materials
• Load and upload materials from loading dock
• Complete minor repair, replacement, and installation of wooden features inside or outside a property
• Follow the lead and instruction of Lead Foreman on-site
• Assist Journeyman carpenters on site from demo of project to completion
• Willingness to learn and stay active

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma preferred
• 3+ years of residential or commercial carpentry experience
• Hand tools and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) gear to complete the work
• OSHA 10 preffered

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
