Brief Bilingual Cashier Job Description

We are looking for a Cashier to handle all customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
Cashier responsibilities include receiving payments and issuing receipts, wrapping gift packages, and keeping track of all cash and credit transactions. To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience in a customer service position and a good understanding of how cash registers operate. The cashier must also be available to take occasional night and weekend shifts.
Ultimately, the cashier will ensure that all transactions go smoothly and help us maximize customer satisfaction.

Bilingual Cashier Responsibilities

-The cashier must provide exceptional customer service to all guests entering and exiting the store
- The cashier must work the register and balance the opening and closing shifts
- The cashier must keep the areas around the register stocked
- The cashier should provide suggestions to customers about items
- The cashier must cross-sell products in the store to complement each customer's purchase
- The cashier must supervise the showcases and counters around the registration area
- The cashier must help customers with questions, queries, information about sizes.
- The cashier must manage transactions with customers using cash registers
- Cashier must scan products and make sure prices are accurate
- The cashier must collect payments either in cash or on credit

Bilingual Cashier Requirements and Skills

- Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales
- Basic knowledge of PC
- Familiarity with electronic equipment, such as cash register and POS
- Good math skills
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Focused on customer satisfaction
- High school diploma
- Fully bilingual
