Cato is seeking a Merchandise Planner to join its planning and allocation team.

Responsibilities include:

• Successful development, execution and communication of stores and eCommerce financial plans;
• Project open to buy sales, markdowns and inventory at the department and class level;
• Identify risks and opportunities and communicate recommendations to merchandising partners and management;
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with allocation and merchandising teams; and
• Develop all documents supporting milestone meetings and participate in Quarterly Analysis and Hindsight

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in merchandise planning and allocation;
• Previous retail experience.
• Strong verbal, written, communication and mathematical skills;
• Strong organizational and time management skills;
• Strong detail orientation and problem solving ability;
• Proficient in Excel and Word;
• Experience with JDA Enterprise Planning is a plus; and
• Bachelor's degree in fashion retailing or business;
