Centerpoint’s Community Education Initiatives (CEI) is seeking a Therapeutic Tutor to provide highly-skilled, specialized instructional support in core academics as accommodated and differentiated for Centerpoint’s students with complex needs.
Centerpoint’s Therapeutic Tutors develop and apply targeted instruction in accordance with IEP goals and as integrated with trauma-informed understandings and intentions, including integrative and compensatory models for change and growth.
CEI’s small, highly-skilled staff team is creative, student-centered, and mission-driven, with a model that brings innovative, nimble, principled-practices – building meaningful, relevant educational opportunities – and genuine, integral relationships – with our amazing students.
This part-time, temporary, hourly position is contracted – based on the presenting needs of our students and community partner referral teams – and averages 19 hours/contracted week.
