Certified Nurse Assistant (Float Pool Schedule CNA position - Clatsop Care Health District - $23 - $25/hr.)

Clatsop Care Health District is seeking skilled and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistants to work in the float pool serving Clatsop Care Health and Rehabilitation Center, Clatsop Care Memory Community, and Clatsop Retirement Village!

The Float Pool CNA is responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients to assure patient safety and attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each patient in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

About the position:

• Float pool employees are assigned to work at all three Clatsop Care Health District facilities. Employees are responsible for transportation to each facility.
• You are willing to work at least 2 shift times (Day, Eve or Noc).
• You are willing to work at least 2 weekend shifts per month; full-time and part-time schedules are also available.
• Be available to work 4 of the 6 major holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas). Must be available to work two of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day.
• Team members are eligible for holiday shift differential pay.

Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
• Currently registered/licensed in Oregon. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
