Overview:
Dignity Health Kids is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our large multidisciplinary neuro pediatric team in Henderson, NV. This is 100% dedicated outpatient pediatrics. You must have pediatric experience within the last three (3) years to be considered. Our full time position is a 40 hour work week to include a Saturday rotation once per month treating until 6pm some days, coupled with day hours, all eight hour shifts. Our cohesive, pediatric team consists of multiple Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech Language Pathologists treating diagnoses ranging from developmental delay, torticollis, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing, feeding delays, speech and language delays and more.
Pediatric experience is required with this position and does include new graduate COTAs with pediatric clinical internships, preferably outpatient and/or early intervention (EI). If interested, we have the opportunity for you to treat adult patients providing cognitive, executive functioning and ADL therapy. An ideal COTA has at least one year of pediatric experience, but we can mentor new graduate COTAs with at least one pediatric rotation.

- Dedicated pediatric caseload ranging from 0-21 years of age. Onsite mentorship
- Compensation begins at: $24/hour and increases based on experience.
- Schedule: We are open from 8am until 6pm with a once per month Saturday rotation as needed

- Assist in providing quality patient care while maintaining a positive level of interaction with patients under the direction of licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Adheres to applicable state regulation concerning occupational therapy.
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) accredited school of occupational therapy.
- Previous pediatric experience is HIGHLY preferred
- State Licensure REQUIRED to start
