Job description
This position will be serve as the regional Charge Master (CDM) gatekeeper. They will be responsible for ensuring that all charges are captured in an appropriate manner, and provide education to clinical departments as needed to ensure accurate charge capture. This person will facilitate communication related to charge accuracy, revenue integrity, and serve as the first point of contact for clinical associates with charge capture questions and opportunities. This person may also be asked to assist with other special projects related to charge capture and rebilling projects. This person will collaborate with Nurse Auditors, coders, and clinical department managers as needed. Additional responsibilities as assigned
