Who We Are:

Central Texas Community Health Centers (dba CommUnityCare Health Centers) provides services at 27 locations primarily in Travis County. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we are a part of the nation’s safety net system, including care for those without health insurance. In 2020, our health centers provided approximately 432,000 medical and dental patient appointments. This number represents more than 123,000 individual patients.

In collaboration with our partners at Central Health, CommUnityCare is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides outpatient primary health care, dental care, pediatric, specialty care, lab, radiology including mammography, a full-service pharmacy, and behavioral health services. With the addition of Carousel Pediatrics in 2018, we now offer pediatric dental care and mental health, speech, physical and occupational therapy for children.

With more than 1,200 team members, CommUnityCare is committed to focusing on the whole patient with a team-based approach. Our goal is to provide easy-to-obtain, comprehensive and coordinated whole-person care.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Revenue Cycle Trainer is responsible for the orientation and development of identified team members in various roles within the revenue cycle department. In collaboration with leaders and team members, is responsible for assessing current educational needs, developing materials, and facilitating education. Assists with the development of standard operating procedures within the revenue cycle department. Will ensure orientation and education records are compliant with regulatory compliance requirements and are stored in the appropriate source of record.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in business related field or 10 years equivalent experience.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
5 years of relevant healthcare revenue or medical billing cycle experience, which includes coding.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Certified Professional Coder (CPC)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $61,500.00 - $68,400.00 per year
