Essential Duties + Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, evolve, and deploy sales and marketing strategies to meet and exceed the agreed annual quota for each business line.
  • Identify, compare, and deploy software solutions that support sales and marketing strategies for greater efficiency or effect.
  • Direct leadership of sales, marketing, and sales administration team.
  • Motivate and develop sales leaders and sales direct contributors to ensure future scaling of the global sales team.
  • Create and coordinate sales training programs that ensure consistent application of key differentiators and knowledge of our core products, services, and solutions.
  • Create and report sales forecasting and sales productivity KPIs to accurately illustrate sales performance to the broader business as required.
  • Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity to ensure ULG products, services and solutions maintain a competitive edge.
  • Set KPIs for each sales initiative and evaluate the effectiveness of the sales initiatives, making appropriate changes that encourage constant positive evolution of our sales strategy and positioning within the market.
  • Design and deploy cost-effective sales incentive compensation programs that motivate the sales team to achieve on and above quota performance.
  • Support customers with executive-level relationships including travel as needed for in-person meetings.
  • Other duties as may be reasonably requested.

Education, Experience + Skills


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Graduate degree in Business Administration a plus.
  • Minimum 10+ years of senior sales leadership at an organization with at least $80m annual revenue.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage and develop multi-tiered (VP, Director, and individual contributor) teams.
  • Proven experience successfully managing a Global Sales budget.
  • Experience conducting performance, market, and competitive analyses.
  • Proven large business-to-business account sales success, including direct “solution selling” and “service selling” requirements.
  • Experience in value proposition development, evolution, and training.
  • Experience in the development and execution of a verticalized sales strategy.
  • High level of written and oral communication skills, including excellent computer skills.
