The MassHealth Office of Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced professional for the role of Child and Family Coordinator. The selected candidate will work for the Office of Behavioral Health within the Child and Family team to ensure that all project planning and associated administrative tasks are managed efficiently. The Child and Family Team Coordinator will support the ongoing organizational, planning, and administrative needs of the unit.


Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive):

Primary responsibility for coordinating, planning, and organizing completion activities associated with the following:

  • Scheduling and agenda keeping for Level of Care (LOC) and Managed Care Meetings arranged through the unit.
  • Coordination of contracts and collaboration with behavioral health providers as assigned by management.
  • Ongoing maintenance and updating of rate review and Independent Service Agreement (ISA) schedules.
  • Developing GANTT Charts and spreadsheets for the ongoing management of projects and tracking of adherence to timeliness standards.
  • Notetaking and follow-up for meetings that cannot be attended by managers or staff within the unit.
  • PowerPoint and Spreadsheet development for meetings and presentations.
  • Outreach to stakeholders whereby directed by management.
  • Participation in and organization of procurement projects.
  • Running of routine reports using the Massachusetts Behavioral Health Access System “MABHA” and other behavioral health indicator dashboards.
  • Tracking completion of unit deliverables.
  • Outgoing communication with collaborators and work partners.
  • Participation in community meetings as directed.
  • Management and resolution of Child and Adolescent Needs and Strength assessment “CANS” tickets.
  • Participation and facilitation of CANS workgroups and policy and program planning meetings.
  • Facilitation and coordination of meetings as assigned by management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Office Proficient (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of virtual meeting platforms to host, facilitate, and support meeting participants.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, time management skills and organizational skills.

Qualifications

MINIMUM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must have at least (A) three years of full time, or equivalent part-time, professional, administrative or managerial experience in business administration, business management or public administration the major duties of which involved program management, program administration, program coordination, program planning and/or program analysis, or (B) any equivalent combination of the required experience and the substitutions below.

Substitutions:
I. A Bachelor's degree with a major in business administration, business management or public administration may be substituted for a maximum of two years of the-required experience.*

II. A Graduate degree with a major in business administration, business management or public administration may be substituted for the required experience.*

III. A Bachelor's or higher degree with a major other than in business administration, business management or public administration may be substituted for a maximum of one year of the required experience.*

  • Education toward such a degree will be prorated on the basis of the proportion of the requirements actually completed.
