The Kent County YMCA is currently looking for a qualified individual to oversee operations at two of our school-based before and after school sites. This is a full-time, benefited, and split-shift position.

Are you a creative individual who loves to help children learn in new and exciting ways? You will take the helm of your own before- and after-school location(s) as part of the YMCA licensed childcare department.

The ideal person must meet all of the following requirements:

• At least 21 years old

• Have at least 2 years of experience working with children in a structured environment.

• A Bachelor’s degree, or an Associate's degree or a minimum of 24 hours of college coursework in applicable field

• Experience crafting curriculum

• Experience mentoring staff

• The heart to serve your community

• The ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, school staff and the community
