The Opportunity

The Business Analyst in the Digital Program Office will work with the members of the Global Chubb Studio team working alongside the platform’s product management and engineering teams to implement new features and/or integrate Chubb’s insurance products into the sales and service flows of our digital affinity partners.

Responsibilities

Support plans and execution of Chubb Studio features and/or product/partner implementations by detailing requirements of the product and/or feature (e.g., facilitating journey mapping).
Actively engage in or lead agile/scrum cadence activities including ceremonies, story grooming, Program Increment (PI) Planning, process modeling, testing activities, Quarterly Business Reviews, training, documentation, and additional support activities for various projects.
Compare and contrast existing and required capabilities, determine necessary analysis activities (e.g., user flows) to define practical solutions, assist with the creation of prototypes, etc.
Standardize and optimize current processes to enable system deployments, new features, new insurance products, value added services, claims, etc.
Connect process efforts to other key initiatives (Digital, Technology, etc.) to ensure broader strategic alignment and manage changes if/when needed.
Provide end-to-end project support for in-flight or new Chubb Studio platform initiatives, including reporting and MI for project stakeholders.
Understand stakeholder management techniques and interventions to foster adoption of new features/products.
Analyze and manage requirements in collaboration with product managers through interviews, workshop facilitation, documentation, etc.
Support product/platform management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
Prioritize the assessment of submitted ideas by building a platform community with members of the Chubb Studio product management team and those who interact day-to-day with partners. Including acknowledging ideas from others, evaluating and determining a course of action for submitted ideas – ensuring response SLAs are achieved – and helping manage the backlog.
Act. as liaison with SMEs in the development of business requirements regarding process/workflow design components. Analyze and resolve escalated problems, coordinating associated activity through various areas while providing timely updates to stakeholders.
Troubleshoot issues and engage appropriate support teams (IT, Operations, Vendor) for resolution, and inform business leaders, product managers and platform end users of status.

Qualifications
Knowledge/ Experience and Skills

At least 3-4 years of business analysis preferably working within the insurance industry, or a highly regulated environment.
Participating or supporting digital initiatives and capabilities.
Experience executing projects in an agile environment (agile concepts, OKRs, cadence, PI planning, backlog, user story creation, wireframing, prototyping, writing acceptance criteria).
Ability to execute testing activities e.g., develop a test plan or test script.
Knowledge of process re-engineering methodologies.
Ability to work independently on assignment of moderate to high complexity, while working through ambiguity.
A creative, flexible, and adaptable thinker that can successfully support multiple projects.
Proficiency in Jira, Mural, Confluence, Microsoft Office. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. Power BI or Qlik experience is a plus.
Strong consultative skills: able to work with product leaders to deliver operational and digital projects including managing and influencing resources even without formal authority.
Translate complexity into the actionable. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to organize, conceptually interpret and clearly communicate material developed collaboratively via the input of multiple parties to facilitate demos when needed.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is required
Advanced degree and/or certification in Agile Methodology, Business Analysis a plus.

In Jersey City, NJ the pay range for the role is $87,500 to $149,500. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
