Acordis has an immediate opening for a Cisco Network Engineer with hands on experience who a motivated self-starter, able to discuss and design advanced routing, security, network management, data center and IP multicast of complex multi layered enterprise architectures that include virtual private networking and wireless domains.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility to develop, design, implement and maintain network / telephony infrastructure and security to support all identified business needs, including VOIP telephony system
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of the design of routed and switched networks involving LAN, WAN, and dial access for larger networks.
• Advanced knowledge of the network design concepts and principles required to develop multi-layer enterprise architectures and network components.
• Strong understanding of the business and industry
• Identifies opportunities and recommends solutions for improving the overall network health by assessing overall effectiveness and efficiency
• Evaluates new technologies and platforms to determine whether their applicability aligns with businesses needs
• Design configures and installs network devices like Cisco Switches, WANs, services virtualization and routing protocols
• Troubleshoots and resolves all expedited issues impacting the customers’ challenges and needs
• Build scalable internetworks, build multilayer switched networks, and design network service architecture.

Experience and Education Requirements

• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of the design of routed and switched networks involving LAN, WAN, and dial access for larger networks.
• Required 3-5 years of experience of progressively responsible experience
• Advanced knowledge of the network design concepts and principles required to develop multi-layer enterprise architectures and network components.
• Strong understanding of the business and industry
• Able to identify, prioritize, and solve complex network-related problems
• Able to work in a fast-paced complex and dynamic environment
• Poise under pressure and comfort with ambiguity
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Active CCNP Enterprise or CCNP Collaboration professional certification is required. CCNP Security preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,714.00 - $88,680.00 per year
