What you bring:
- Participates in developing Company-wide policies, plans and programs applicable to engineering.
- Provides oversight and advises company personnel while assisting in organizing and evaluating drawings and proposals.
- Conducts a review of engineering information used by external partners to develop engineering designs that contain specific civil, structural, electrical, mechanical and/or architectural details.
- Reviews designs and cost estimates for Company equipment and/or systems; makes recommendations for equipment based on engineering specifications.
- Provides oversight to Engineering personnel pertaining to Federal and State Agency programs and reporting as needed.
- Investigates and evaluates engineering equipment and materials; makes recommendations accordingly.
- Evaluates current design standards and makes recommendations for design improvements.
- Coordinates preparation and maintenance of appropriate reports and records; assists internal stakeholders in obtaining necessary documents required for permits.
- Ensures that drafting work, prepared by the Engineering Group, is accurate and complete.
- Creates specifications for equipment, equipment installation and construction.
- Completes other duties, including special projects, as assigned by Management.
- Demonstrated expertise with Word, Excel, and other MS Office suite applications.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to research and resolve issues.
- Strong organization and collaborative skills.
- Good understanding of intra-department functions and operations.
- Knowledge of convenience store and petroleum marketing facilities.
- Ability to perform repeated bending, standing and reaching.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
