Job Summary: The Clean Room Technician performs activities directly and indirectly related to the completion of environmental and hazardous material warehousing and Clean Room projects.Primary Responsibilities of the Job: • Follows written work instructions and JBDs precisely • Works safely and utilizes all necessary PPE • Escalates any potential safety or quality concerns • Performs accurate quality control checks • To properly track and maintain all dip-tubes sent by vendors • To have, on hand, an adequate level of dip-tubed drums to maintain the customers’ requirements • Properly use dip-tube management program in ChemStar • Maintain daily startup/shut down procedures packet for day to day clean room operation and turn in to the cleanroom supervisor • Properly tag drums with dip-tubed stickers as inventory is processed through the clean room • On-call during off hours for any issues associated with dip-tube inventory • Check all inserted dip-tubes using proper key codes • Neutralize and dispose of waste water as needed • Take and send water sample at the end of each month • Remove all tubes from spent drums and prepare returnable drums for shipment • Maintain cleanliness of the cleanroom • Receive, label, wrap, inspect, and stow on hold and reject material when returned by delivery staff in accordance with return authorization form SOP • Perform filter change-outs when necessary • Assist CSR in daily operations • Perform warehouse technician duties as needed • Provide assistance for chemical deliveries as needed • Participates in Kaizen or process improvement teams • Must serve on the COI committee • Participates in safety, quality or other committee memberships as needed • Order cleanroom supplies as needed through appropriate channels • Participate in special operations as requested by the Facility Manager • Keep track of the number of dip-tubes changed for proper billing • Participate in training and safety meetings • Review and forward incident and accident reports • Communicate with CSR and Supervisor of any problems encountered during shift • Maintain and inform personnel about important information from Suppliers by using bulletin board or Safety meetings as means of notification • All other duties as assigned
