Memorial Community Hospital & Health System (MCH&HS), located in Blair, Nebraska, is seeking a Clerk Tech/Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Med/Surg team working full-time nights. Three 12 hour night shifts 6:00pm to 6:30am per week with rotating weekends.Beginning at birth and continuing for a lifetime, Memorial Community Hospital & Health System is your connection to quality healthcare services. Job Summary
- Support the department with clerical and direct patient care duties.
- Must be caring, compassionate, organized, and adaptable to change.
- Greets all patients, visitors and staff to the department in a professional, courteous and friendly manner.
- Receives, directs and takes messages for incoming phone calls.
- Facilitates communication between staff, management and Medical Staff.
- Assists with maintaining files and paperwork necessary for department.
- Assist with direct care of patients under the direct supervision of the nurse staff while practicing within the stated guidelines of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Current licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Nebraska required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
