The University of Vermont Health Network Home Health & Hospice is looking for a Nurse Clinical Educator to join our team to advance best practices in patient safety, clinician safety, field education, and programmatic educational development. The ideal candidate will be reliable, flexible, collegial, curious, and professional in communication and behavior. This role maintains and improve our teams' clinical skills through professional development and in-services and serves as a consultant to clinical leaders/managers in developing education plans for individual clinicians to improve clinical practice. The Clinical Educator will work regularly with a variety of educational institutions, professional associations, consultants, and other organizations in designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating education and training programs related to orientation, onboarding, and ongoing job-related learning needs.
EXPERIENCE:
Two to four years of relevant clinical, supervisory and staff development/education experience in an inpatient, home health, or hospice setting.
Demonstrated success in designing and delivering educational programs.
RN required, MSN preferred.
REQUIREMENTS:
English language fluency.
Ability to travel to clients’ homes, inpatient facilities, or any UVMHN-HHH property.
Comfort and innovation with technology.
