Positions: Clinical Engineering Clerk - This is a part-time position

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs clerical duties including entering data into the computer, answering phones, filing and verifying purchase orders.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Uses FAME system to enter data relating to testing, preventive maintenance, and repair of clinical equipment
• Uses FAME system to generate reports, both routine and special requests. Special request may require knowledge of system programming language
• Maintains clinical engineering files consisting of purchasing orders, service literature, vendor service reports, etc.
• Verifies and logs incoming materials or equipment; routes paperwork on incoming equipment to the inspecting technician
• Answers phone and relays messages as required
• Requests service from outside vendors as required
• Receives incoming defective equipment; records complaints; initiates work orders via FAME system; notifies appropriate section supervisor of

• Performs other duties as requires or assigned by emergency or other operational reasons for which the employee is qualified to perform
• Observes ISS Solutions Policies and Procedures and confidentiality of work being processed

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or equivalent
