Job Title: Medical Technologist

Location: The Bronx, New York

Salary: $85,000-$98,000 + /Annually (DOE)

Our hospital near The Bronx, NY is seeking a full-time Medical Technologist to join our team. The Medical Technologist will perform routine and emergency tests on blood and other body fluids using automated and manual equipment to ensure the highest level of accuracy is achieved.

Medical Technologist Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and emergency tests on blood and other body fluids using automated and manual equipment
• Monitor specimens to ensure completion
• Review data prior to release and report findings
• Maintain QC data on all tests
• Maintain equipment and records

Medical Technologist Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required in a physical science (Medical technology preferred)
• 1 year of prior experience
• New York State Dept of Education Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or limited permit required
