Position Summary:

The Title Agent/Closer will perform advanced duties related to all facets of the closing process. The Closer is required to exercise high levels of professionalism, independent judgement, and knowledge necessary to effectively and efficiently handle any situation at the closing table. S/He is responsible for knowing how to process pre and post-closing documents and duties such as preparing Closing Disclosures (CD), disbursement of loan packages, etc. In addition to closing duties, this role will be expected to generate new business by building new relationships and maintaining customer relationships with existing customers. The role will work with a diverse group of clients/guests/public in their branch, requiring a high level of professionalism and confidentiality to increase sales and grow relationships with new and potential clients. This position will also work closely with the Sales team & Management team to generate leads & sales for the Wauwatosa branch.

Essential Functions:

General Duties

· Build and maintain relationships with lenders and realtors to identify sales opportunities.

· Secure orders and information needed for processing then submit by various methods to Order Entry department for processing. Assist Order Entry in obtaining additional information when needed.

· Work collaboratively with Branch Manager to review and identify sales opportunity and continuous market/branch growth to meet sales expectations as defined by Corporate Management.

· Professional communication and collaboration with customers/realtors/lenders/legal professionals to obtain all information needed to schedule and facilitate closings.

· Understand and have the ability to assist with and facilitate all aspects of the Closing Specialist position, when needed, and Review all documents prior to closing for accuracy.

· Working closely with Closing Specialist to ensure all pre and post-closing duties have been done for each file and Review all documents prior to closing for accuracy.

· Coordinates with buyer/seller/lender/realtor/legal professional date, time, and location of closing

· Facilitate closings and construction disbursements with buyers/sellers/lenders/realtors/legal professionals/other TNCT departments.

· Copy pertinent documents and distribute to parties present at closing within company and industry guidelines

· Disburse checks to parties present at closing

· Travel to buyer/seller/lenders/realtors/legal professionals to facilitate closings, when needed

· Ensure closing packet is returned immediately after closing to Closing Specialist for post-closing duties

· Examine title search to determine information needed to correctly and completely produce title commitment for insurance while conforming to all company and underwriter guidelines as needed.

· Use of standard office equipment; computer, company software, multi-line phone, etc.

· Assist in basic office needs; answering telephones, greeting customers/clients, helping Closer or Branch Manager in areas needed.

o While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, or sit. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

· Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

o This is a full-time, base salary + commission position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm Additional and varied hours maybe required to attend community, sales and networking events during evening and weekend hours.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma required. Associates Degree in Business related field, or alike is preferred.

· Minimum 2 years of professional office experience required. Minimum 1 to 2 years of mortgage or title insurance industry experience in a professional setting strongly preferred.

· Proven sales background with data to show sales goals reached over time

· Obtain and maintain a State Notary Public appointment

· State Title Insurance License is required. If not licensed, must be able to obtain license within the first 90 days of hire.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

· Ability to multi-task and willingness to take on additional tasks to ensure customer satisfaction

· Ability and willingness to professionally communicate and collaborate with co-workers/customers/realtors/lenders/legal professionals to obtains all needed information to process closing documents
