Job Summary:
The Cloud Operations Specialist will serve as the financial subject matter expert for our company’s cloud business. The Specialist will collaborate with cloud partners, cloud teams, internal sales teams and accounting teams to successfully bill, process payments and resolve accounting issues for our customers and partners.

This role will report to the role within the Strategic Partners - Cloud department.

Responsibilities:

Include, but not limited to:

  • Obtain customers cloud data from cloud partners and collaborate with Accounting, AX, BI, CRM, MySHI and other teams as needed to process and automate workflows with applicable data reporting
  • Process and manage the monthly AX and ordering processes supporting cloud transaction finances for Google and other cloud business
  • Utilize internal/external reporting and processing tools to accurately and timely process billing
  • Investigate customer payment disputes and follow-up with SHI, client or partner accounting teams with their findings
  • Compile and publish financial reports internally, externally and to clients
  • Identify areas for improvement and take initiative to properly automate and expand capabilities to meet growing demand
  • Engage and collaborate with sales teams across all segments to service invoice, discounts, credit limit, taxation, payment term and other aspects of monthly billing processing
  • Report to internal management on workflow compliance to drive efficiency and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Receive Cloud onboarding submissions and ensure information is accurate and correct
  • Engage with sales when needed to correct information prior to order provisioning and billing
Qualifications:
  • BS/BA Degree or equivalent working experience
  • Minimum 1 year in Inside/Outside Sales (IAM/IAE) or Partner/Vendor support experience or Minimum 1 year experience in working with AX order processing, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint and Minimum 1 year experience and understanding of accounting, bookkeeping or finance
Required Skills:
  • Proficiency with AX and advanced capabilities of Microsoft Excel and SharePoint
  • Proficiency with accounting, bookkeeping or finance
  • Proficiency with AX order processing and awareness of SHI AR and AP procedures
  • Strong, dedicated work ethic focusing on the willingness to provide world class support
  • Ability to stay self-motivated and self-directed
  • Ability to work in a fast paced team environment
  • Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficiency in MS office tools – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively work independently, in a team environment, and under general supervision
  • Ability to self-motivate – constantly focus/strive for suggested streamlining and improvements
  • Familiarity with Advanced Excel functions - Pivot Tables, Macros, Formulas

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

  • Familiarity with CRM, BI and MySHI
  • Familiarity with sales support tools and processes
  • Process improvement mindset and experience
  • Familiarity with Google or other partner programs with ability to ramp up quickly
  • Experience with subscription-based business models like Google, hosting or ongoing services
Additional Information:
  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $40,000 - $80,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
