Job Description
The Global Technology team is seeking for a Cloud Network Engineer to join our team to support Public Cloud deployment in AWS and Microsoft Azure. The cloud network engineer will help develop and enforce standards, policies, and procedures for Cloud infrastructure. The candidate will bridge the gap between the traditional on-prem network infrastructure and the network infrastructure deployed in the public cloud. The primary focus of this individual is to work with the current team of engineers to develop a strategy around evolving our current cloud network deployment in AWS and Microsoft Azure.
Responsibilities

• Experience in designing, implementing and troubleshooting on-perm and public cloud network infrastructure.
• Ability to work on a team or independently with minimal supervision to achieve project milestones and deadlines. Knows how to escalate appropriately, efficiently, and effectively.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills; able to manage a complex project independently, while functioning effectively under time constraints, established deadlines and within budget.
• Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding and constantly changing environment, while being able to set priorities and balance multiple deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present information in clear, concise terms to all position levels in the organization, as well as business partners, vendors and technical staff.
• Proficient with network automation leveraging Python, Ansible, JSON, Terraform, Rest API's, PowerShell, and other network automation technologies.
• Experience in managing all cloud-native network technologies offered by AWS and Microsoft Azure using automation.
• In-depth understanding of routing, switching, firewall, and network monitoring and management.
• Extensive knowledge and experience of interconnecting cloud regions as well as cloud to on-prem in a globally deployed network infrastructure.
• Maintain systems and documentation as needed for audits and compliance.
• Develop customized monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Experience implementing cloud connectivity solutions using AWS Direct Connect and Azure Express Route.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $80.00 - $92.00 per hour
