Ascend Career Services is partnering with Community Services Group (CSG) to hire a Clubhouse Rehabilitation Associate at their Sunbury, PA location. The CSG Clubhouse program offers vocational and psychiatric rehabilitation services for adults with mental illness. Throughout the work-ordered day, members learn skills useful in finding and maintaining employment within a supportive environment. CSG was founded in 1972 with the goal of providing quality community-based intellectual and developmental disability (IDD) and mental health services in Central and Northeastern Pennsylvania. Our specialized programs are designed to meet the needs of the individuals we serve and help them reach their full potential. Weekly work schedule - M-F 8am-4pm. This position is primarily a 1st shift schedule but also includes 1 social evening per week and 1 Saturday per month with rotating staff coverage.

Key Responsibilities
- Functions as a responsible staff person with clubhouse members and another staff person in assigned work unit.
- Monitors and coordinate work units and other daily clubhouse activities.
- Encourages and supports member participation and attendance at the clubhouse.
- Documents information as needed on Progress Notes, Rehabilitation Plans, and Rehabilitation Plan Reviews, able to communicate well and use computer programs.
- Completes case administrator duties as assigned such as completing intake and orientation paperwork for new members of the clubhouse.
- Assesses members in work units for readiness to move into employment.
- Assists members with individualized job search process.
- Provides on-site job coaching as needed when members obtain employment, continues on-site visits as necessary.
- Represents the clubhouse as a liaison with other programs of Community Services Group, community organizations, and funding sources.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from accredited school in a relevant major such as Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling,
- OR Associates Degree and 1 year work experience in mental health,
- OR a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) certificate and one additional year paid or volunteer work experience in mental health direct service.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to obtain background clearances.
- Knowledge of the effects of mental illness on vocational development and functioning level of members.
