We are looking for a reliable CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) to care for older adults in a professional and considerate manner. You will work under the supervision of an RN or LPN. You must be first and foremost qualified and compassionate. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing diverse basic care to those who need it while remaining patient and calm. It is a demanding job but also very rewarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to residents and answer calls while being helpful and responsive
• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, weight, etc.
• Assist in monitoring patients’ condition, reporting changes in condition
• Assist residents in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing etc.
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
• Communicate with coworkers and supervisors professionally

Skills

• Proven experience as CNA or similar role
• Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
• Good physical condition and stamina
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and able to handle stress

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN, Per diem

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
