Responsibilities:

• Address client needs with respect and attention to safety
• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, and using the bathroom
• Actively engage clients through conversation and companionship
• Engage with clients in a manner that promotes their independence and maintains their dignity
• Help with meal preparation, planning, and grocery shopping
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents or behavior
• Administer medications as outlined
• Maintain a safe environment for clients

Requirements:

• Must be able to work weekends!!
• Minimum 6+ month(s) professional experience supporting individuals with disabilities, mental illnesses, or challenging behaviors
• Possess a professional and upbeat attitude
• Sympathetic to patient care
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to read, write, and carry out directions
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Car preferred but not required!
• Must be in designated uniform during working hours, to include name badge and a smile
• A willingness to work flexible hours, which may include night and weekend shifts
• Must be able to represent the company in a positive and professional manner
• Must attend and complete all required in-services and staff meetings
