3rd Shift Laser Technician 8pm to 5am M-F (Training 11am-7pm M-F)

- Laser Knowledge
- Take time to really learn the science behind the lasers
- Interface with Laser Manufacturer and other resources
- Assistance with installation of new lasers as needed
- Use laser cutter to cut/organize foam layers, overlays, name plates, hanging tags, and stickers
- Selecting proper materials based on detailed methods
- Selecting appropriate file and making adjustments if needed
- Understanding of laser driver functions
- Careful aligning to avoid bad products and limit waste
- Trim foam layers
- Special projects as assigned
- Bi-monthly cleaning tasks
- Clean Overlays
- Wash delicately in the sink
- Slowly wipe with wet sponge
- Dry with paper towel layers
- Use tools (rag/eraser etc.) to clean residual laser cutting material from overlay
- Check overlay cleanliness against dark background
- Laser Maintenance
- Cleaning the lasers (interior and exterior)
- Calibrating the lasers
- Troubleshooting issues
- Installing new hardware/software
- Training new people to run lasers
- Maintaining/updating the file database
- Setting up a calendar of all laser events for maintenance items

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
