Job Title: Mainframe/Cobol Developer

Location: Onsite - Cincinnati , OH

Mandatory skill sets: TSO, COBOL, JCL

Position type: Contract

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technology field or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• 5+ years of Mainframe engineering or other IT work experience relevant to the position
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to work in a highly-collaborative environment
• Solid understanding and significant experience with modern software development practices, tools, and/or hardware technologies
• Solid understanding of IT security best practices
• Expertise in one or more technical and/or functional domains relevant to the position
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting complex technical solutions
• Technical skills per the specific position’s requirements
• Proficent with COBOL and JCL along with TSO and standard IBM utilities
• We are migrating to IDz (similar to Eclipse) and GITHUB
• Knowledge of CICS, VSAM and DB2 a plus

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Bachelor's (Required)

• Mainframe development: 5 years (Required)
