Join us at Interlochen Arts Camp as a Collaborative Pianist during the 2023 Camp season. The dates of employment are 6/23/23-8/6/23. We have openings in Dance, Voice, and Instrumental areas. Upon review of your materials, we will determine the best placement for you. This is a paid position. In addition, housing and ALL meals are included for the dates of your agreement.

Major Responsibilities:

• Position will rehearse and perform as needed with campers
• Up to 25 hours of contact with campers per week; additional practice time may be required
• Pianists will be assigned to specialized areas/departments including instrumental accompanying, dance accompanying, and musical theatre
• Optional opportunities for extracurricular performance opportunities with guest artists and staff may be available

Compensation is based on degree earned:- Pre-Bachelors - $1,750- Bachelors - $1,850- Masters - $1,950- Doctorate - $2,050

• Ability to work a varied schedule

• Ability to see and read music is required
• Pianistic fluency and previous collaborative experience
• Ability to learn new music quickly, as well as demonstrate good sight-reading skills
