Silgan Closures is seeking an on-site COLLECTIONS ANALYST at our Corporate Headquarters in Downers Grove, IL to maintain the collections of balances on an assigned portfolio of customer accounts.
What you’ll do:
- Work assigned portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely collection of balances to minimize delinquency and to meet cash flow objectives.
- Monitor credit holds for accounts reaching credit limits or having past dues where holds can be leveraged in the collection process.
- Reconcile customer claims and deductions for assigned accounts.
- Process credit cards for cash-in-advance customers.

Job Requirements:
What you’ll need:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent in experience.
- Minimum five (5) years related experience.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong organizational and negotiating skills.
- Analytical skills problem solving and account reconciliation.
