Piatt Hotel Group is seeking a Commercial Appliance Technician that is service oriented, friendly, and self-motivated to navigate the trouble shooting process and resolve issues. This position will travel from location to location on a regular basis. As needed, the position may be assigned specifically to one of our locations for a length of time. Team member will own the following responsibilities:

• Follow safety procedures and lock out tag out procedures
• Maintain equipment inventory
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance
• Perform necessary repairs to commercial kitchen equipment
• Perform necessary repairs to commercial laundry equipment
• Assist on special projects with entire unit/department
• Host Hood cleaning company when service is performed – monthly/quarterly

Experience:

• Electrical
• HVAC – 608 EPA Certification
• Technical/Mechanical aptitude

Required Skills:

• Should be highly organized, have strong oral and written communication skills
• Outstanding people skills
• Trustworthy and results-driven
• Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving record (Required)
• Ability to read equipment schematics
• Ability to lift to 75 lbs
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and available for all shifts.
• May include nights, weekends and/or holidays.
