Role Summary:

The Client Transition Team works directly with clients to seamlessly implement new products and create a competitive advantage for the organization. The team is charged to work with client coverage team to establish a platform for consultative discussions and execute complex Treasury solutions that support the client's business goals while growing and retaining revenue for the bank.

As the lead you will set the tone and develop governance/procedures for the team to engage directly with clients. You will be a player/coach you will be expected to lead some of the more complex client relationships and assign projects to the rest of the team.

Job Responsibilities:

The CBCO is seeking a driven, proactive, and intellectually curious individual to partner with clients and senior leaders implementing financial solutions to complement the business strategy of Commercial Banking clients. This role will lead the Client Transition team and will require internal interaction at all levels of the organization.
  • Ensure team operates effectively by adhering to implementation methodology and policies
  • Manage client and partner expectations and understanding
  • Exhibit ownership of the transition experience and client satisfaction
  • Maintain a client first culture among the team through open dialogue, encouragement of feedback and attracting and/or retaining superior talent
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners in Relationship Management, Sales, Service, Operations and Product Management
  • Foster a culture of teamwork with partners and within the Implementation team
  • Develop, scope and execute on internal initiatives as assigned
  • Work with partners in Operations and Product Management to streamline processes
  • Utilize management reports and metrics to ensure success in meeting the team's objectives
  • Oversee employee team adherence to policy and procedures
  • Manage issue reporting; risks, dependencies, and planning gaps to resolve issues
  • Think and act strategically by defining and driving the direction of the business
  • Drive results by demonstrating a consistent track record factoring in adverse/risk control issues
  • Innovate by staying abreast of trends and best practices and factors into approach
  • Demonstrate values by promoting an inclusive work environment

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Demonstrate excellent executive skill set; strategic thinking, negotiation skills, verbal and written communication, time management, organizational, and influencing skills
  • Demonstrate success as a leader within a complex matrix environment: influential partner who can lead and mobilize internal and client technology functions
  • Demonstrate strong oral and written presentation skills and ability to present to large groups and executive management
  • Ability to work independently and with all levels of the organization to facilitate the negotiation of critical technology matters on behalf of the client relationship team
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong presentation and negotiating skills
  • Experience in risk awareness and skills to develop and ensure quality program set ups
  • Convey a professional, knowledgeable and confident demeanor over the phone
  • Proven team leadership and experience in coaching or mentoring other employees
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with the ability to manage conflict and mobilize internal resources

Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities:
  • 10 + years in a client facing consultative environment
  • MBA or advanced degree
