Summary

A reputable client is looking for an estimator to join their team. This individual would be a key component to their doors, frames and hardware team.

Essential Functions

· Works directly with Contractor including the hard bid processes

· Reviews scope of work with General Contractor

· Performs labor cost interpretation based on scope of work

· Receives/evaluates plans, drawings and blueprints to make recommendations

· Compares actual and estimated materials on completion of each project

· Knowledge of Comsense and its functions

· Responsible for door and hardware takeoffs and costing all parts and scope of work

· All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

· 2 or 4 year degree in construction management or engineering

· 3-5 years of related experience in similar construction or building material industry

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

· Blueprint/plan reading

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· Knowledge of door, frame and hardware applications as they relate to the general commercial construction industry

· Excellent oral communication skills and positive interpersonal skills

· Detail oriented, deadline conscience, goal driven, and able to handle all types of scopes of projects
