DESCRIPTION: Plan and Spec Job Estimating and Inside Sales Support for Sales Team

• Review plans and determine quoting qualification for HVAC products Standard Air represents including commercial, residential, Hydronic and Specialty products.
• Examine the plans and specifications and perform computer generated equipment selections for equipment that selection programs exist or manually select equipment if necessary to determine if there are questions regarding compliance with the plans and specs. Consult vendors for pricing and compliance with plans and specifications. Complete accurate equipment take-offs in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with Controls Manager for controls, Product Managers for pricing levels, and other staff as required to properly bid as complete of a project as possible.
• Enter equipment selections into Carrier Quotepro software to generate the quote and the Quote report. Compile a list of jobs that are being bid with bid dates so that the bids can be properly tracked.
• Take phone calls for sales engineers when Sales Engineer is not available or overflow situation exists. Be able to address issues such as:
• equipment order status
• bid schedule and activity
• product information and literature requests
• availability requests
• Interface with Order Service and Parts as directed by Sales Engineer.
• Handle project & order follow-up at Sales Engineer direction.
• Assist Sales Engineer in preparation of submittals; assemble worksheets & complete forms as directed by Sales Engineer.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
