FEASIBILITY RESEARCH GROUP

COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE APPRAISAL ASSOCIATE

Feasibility Research Group (FRG), a privately-owned real estate services company specializing in commercial real estate appraisal, inspection and research. We are seeking a Commercial Real Estate Appraisal Associate to assist in the completion of appraisals, and rent comparability studies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Interview individuals familiar with subject property, e.g. property managers, owners, and realtors to obtain relevant property data and information
• Research and verify real estate comparables property information (e.g., rents, occupancy, amenities, etc.)
• Use various public and syndicated databases to conduct property, geography and demographic research
• Enter research findings into company’s database using excel templates
• Concisely and accurately write summaries of research findings
• Other duties may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish scheduled work
• Requires self-motivation and a professional attitude
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs (e.g., MS Excel and Word) and comfortable with technology (eg smartphones, tablets, 360 video cameras, etc.)
• Excellent research and analytical skills. Ability to complete data searches on the internet, government/municipal sites, etc
• Familiar with and/or have used Bureau of Labor Statistics data

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• Preferred minimum of Associate degree
• Minimum of two years of related research and/or real estate experience a plus

COMMUNICATION AND REASONING ABILITY

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and accurate research

COMPENSATION

• Part-time: approximately 15-30 hrs per week with opportunity for full-time
• Flexible work schedule, work independently, work from home (remote)
• No healthcare benefits
• Potential for yearly bonus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
