KN Construction, Inc., Nielson Construction, is a leader in the residential and commercial construction industry. The Commercial Site Supervisor will coordinate all new construction site activities and supervise field personnel to successfully complete projects on schedule and within budget. The hired candidate must maintain quality work while following all construction safety practices.

Responsibilities:

• Directs all sub-contractors and employees to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications
• Pre-construction & construction meetings with subcontractors, as needed on site
• Daily Field reports to supervisors, site engineers, and division leads
• Pay strict attention to details, and see all projects through to completion while continuously searching for ways to improve processes and create efficiencies
• Maintain work sites, tools, and equipment with strict compliance to safety and company policies
• Knowledge to read and understand construction plans and specifications
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural reasoning
• Prepare, approve, and submit accurate timesheets and other required paperwork
• Maintains and updates construction schedule, and identifies and solves problems.
• Review submittals and orders materials throughout the process
• Schedules inspections as necessary throughout the process
• Manages multiple projects at one time
• Proficiency in the use of project management software and Microsoft Office
• Analyzes problems and makes sound decisions in a timely manner based on objectives, risks, implications, and costs.

Qualifications:

• 1-year of experience in the commercial construction industry
• 1-year experience in leading crew in an efficient manner
• Excellent attention to detail with emphasis placed on quality and safety
• Must have a valid driver's license
