Job description
We’re hiring a part-time Communications Assistant who is primarily responsible for producing live video coverage of the city’s public meetings for streaming and on-demand playback, as well as assisting with other communications department functions including the production support and minor website updates.Successful candidates will be comfortable with technology, be able to follow direction, do basic troubleshooting and understand video basics.
We’re asking for a high-school diploma (or equivalent) plus six months of work (or a year of class) experience with video.
Pay is $15.80 per hour, starting at up to 10 hours a week. Candidates must be available to work nights and some weekends. Must have reliable transportation. Post-offer physical, drug screen and background screen are required. This position will remain open until filled.
