The Job:

Are you a natural storyteller with a passion for writing and creating content? Do you like working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment? Do you love wine? We are searching for a strategic and creative-minded Communications Specialist to join our Corporate Communications team. The Communications Specialist is an integral part of the company’s strategy for internal and external communications. You will be responsible for the creating and managing engaging written and visual content across the company’s various communications channels to foster a connected workplace and communicate company initiatives and priorities.

What You’ll Do:

• Create, manage, and publish strong, well-written content across the company’s internal and external communications channels: company intranet, digital signage, company newsletters, corporate social media channels, company website
• Assist in producing written content for corporate presentations and materials, e.g., executive bios, company statements, etc.
• Publish and manage content on the company’s digital platforms, including the intranet, website, digital signage, and social media: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to generate content for: company initiatives, DE&I employee page, company sustainability page, employee and team spotlights, employee programs, winery stories and industry news
• Write, edit, and proofread copy to ensure clarity and accuracy, language, flow, and grammar; tailor content based on channel and audience
• Assist in the management of a multi-channel content calendar
• Manage repository of creative assets including videos, photography, and social assets for corporate channels
• Attend and recap company and industry events, including Town Halls, Executive Speaking Engagements, etc.
• Assist with research and relevant business insights, track success metrics and assist in deployment of employee feedback loops

Desired Experience:

• Fluency in Spanish desired, but not required
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint Excel, SharePoint)
• Has experience with content management systems and/or publishing tools
• Has created, published, and monitored content for corporate social media accounts
• Eye for creative; savvy in Photoshop or Canva for basic photo editing needs on the fly
• Has worked in a professional environment with established deadlines
• Experience as a professional writer or communications professional
